New 3D-instrument to Innventia for a closer view of paper
Innventia’s newest instrument, an x-ray microtomography system (MicroXCT-200 from Xradia) was installed earlier this week. The instrument generates real 3D images in high resolution and will give us new insights into our and our customer’s materials.

With this instrument you will for example be able to visualise structures and interfaces and detect damages and deformations in paper, cardboard and composite materials without any particular preparation of the samples.
- We are convinced that many new ideas for projects will emerge from the new images we can produce, says Catherine Östlund at the paper technology group at Innventia.

This investment was made possible through a generous grant by the Stiftelsen Nils och Dorthi Troëdssons forskningsfond
