Innventia Chip Mix Calculator
The Innventia Chip Mix calculator is an efficient simulation tool to quickly assess the effects from a change of the chip mix to a digester. As well as providing estimated results on the fibre properties it also gives an estimate of the resulting pulp properties
 
The tool is based on data from a number of representative areas in Sweden. The database currently contains information related to pine/spruce, thinning/final cut, pulp wood/saw mill chips/downgraded wood and a number of wood classes from relevant plots/areas.
 
The Innventia models have been developed using various data sources (i.e. the National Inventory Database of Sweden, 380.000 trees). Estimated pulp/sheet properties include density, tensile index, stretch-at-break, tensile energy absorption index, tensile stiffness index, tear index, air permeance and zero-span tensile index.
