One field in which Innventia has genuine expertise is perception psychology, that is capturing how we perceive the environment all around us through our senses of vision, touch, smell, taste and sight. Two fully qualified perception psychologists coupled with material and experimental scientists utilise standard and new techniques and statistical methods to deliver consultancy and research projects to our client base.

Our perception tests
The Innventia perception laboratory is part of the Human Product Interaction Laboratory and offers:
- panel tests of various materials such as paper, board, printed materials and packaging
- tailor-made testing, designed specifically for your product or materials
- eye-tracking – What grabs the attention of the end-user? What holds the attention for the longest time? In what order do they look at things? A large number of different aspects of a product can be evaluated. Both mobile and stationary equipment for eye-tracking is available.
