Equipment/methods
Innventia uses several laboratory printing presses (IGT, Prüfbau and ISIT) to predict printability using a variety of printing methods. The laboratory printing presses allow the printability of paper and board to be predicted. The methods have been developed to emphasize on different important phenomena e.g. ink demand, ink tack, set-off, print unevenness and linting.

There are also several methods available for characterisation of the paper and board surfaces and we have the possibility to modify and produce test surfaces by laboratory and pilot-scale forming, coating and calendering.
