Cape Pack v2.07 is the latest version (Nov. 2007) of Cape Pack - the world's leading computer program for packaging design and palletising. The program has been developed by Cape Systems in London and is run on all Windows platforms, also Vista.  

• Design - to redesign an existing consumer package or to develop packaging for an entireny new product
• Arrange - to arrange/palletize boxes/trays based on an existing consumer package
• Pallet - for optimal load pattern for finished products/packaging, on a pallet and/or in a truck.

 The program is sold in three different versions: the Pallet-program only, Pallet + Arrange or complete with Pallet, Arrange and Design.

• Folding Carton Arrange Program (FCA). A new program for folding carton manufacturers. Using the dimensions of a folded carton to determine the best number of cartons per bundle, bundles per case and cases per pallet for either a fixed or
  variable case size.
• Reverse packing (inverting) of trapezoidal shapes into cases and onto pallets. Use the Arrange/Design program to reverse pack trapezoidal shapes into cases or reverse stack trapezoidal shapes onto pallets in the Pallet Group.
• Reverse packing (inverting) of conical shapes into cases and onto pallets. Use the Arrange/Design program to reverse pack conical shapes into cases or reverse stack conical shapes onto pallets in the Pallet Group.

Introducing CAPE's Web Page Publisher

Based on customer feedback and advances in Internet technology, we have now included another innovative feature to the CAPE PACK v2.07 and TRUCKFILL v2.06 programs - Web Page Publisher.

This new program has been specifically designed to enable our users to build catalogues of web pages (CAPE Reports) from their CAPE PACK v2.07 or TRUCKFILL v2.06 solutions. These web pages can then be viewed from a Network Server; an Intranet, the Internet or any other web based system.

The advantages:

1. Easy to use.
2. Easily accessible.
3. Can print solutions via a browser.
4. Customers or colleagues do not need the CAPE PACK program to view CAPE’s web pages.
5. Creates a single source of numerical and graphical information – available 24/7.
6. Has in-built security – if you don’t know the address – you don’t know it is there!

How it works

To create a web page - simply run a CAPE PACK or TRUCKFILL analysis and, at the graphics section, select an appropriate solution. Then customise the screen layout by changing colours, the number of on-screen pictures or add surface graphics.

Finally, save your solution to either a new or existing catalogue. It’s that easy! CAPE even gives you a simple FTP program to upload your catalogues to your Intranet or Internet space. Once the catalogues have been created, customers or colleagues can view the saved web pages (CAPE PACK or TRUCKFILL solutions from your catalogue) using an ‘Internet browser’ i.e. Internet Explorer.

The advantages are clear! This application is an ideal tool to create a single, Internet based, source of palletising specifications and information. You can even link our web pages to other applications.
