Program
ModelPACK aimed at improving the international competitiveness of European corrugated board SMEs by an integrated, transnational research approach. The objective of the project is to develop appropriate quality prediction systems and explore new decision possibilities for both cost reduction and quality increase in packaging design and manufacturing.
In the
ModelPACK Project, Innventia useed its expertise in packaging materials and packaging to develop quality predictive models, based mainly on data gathered on large quantities of paper and corrugated board produced at different mills around Europe. These models can be used to choose the appropriate corrugated board for packaging designs with given requirements.
