Innventia is the link between academic research and application in the industry and covers a large number of different fields, from raw materials to consumer needs. Having Partner Customers in several countries worldwide, Innventia is working globally, growing continually in know-how and knowledge. This worldwide collaboration places Innventia in a unique position and strengthens us to co-ordinate extensive research projects and programmes.

 

Innventia's main part of research is performed as Industral Research which consists of two parts, the Cluster Research Programme and the Industry & Trade Groups. Both are mainly financed by the industry with leverage from e.g. Swedish Energy Agency.

 

Besides the Industrial Research, Innventia performs Exploratory Research which is characterised by a more exploratory emphasis and a high public funding. We have an extended co-operation with other research organisations and universities, both national and international. The public means from both Swedish autorities and the EU help Innventia take care of and develop those ideas which are not readily applicable in the industry.
