Our microscopy laboratory offers a broad range of analyses and consultations on commercial basis. We have long experience and extensive knowledge of wood, fibre, paper and coating structures, including troubleshooting problems related to processes. Our experience makes it possible to propose the most relevant microscopy analysis for our customers needs.

We characterise, analyse and measure structures using different methods developed in close cooperation with the image analysis laboratory. We also develop new or modify existing methods for tailor-made solutions for our customers.

We carry out fibre furnish analyses, which include identification of woody and non-woody fibres species, and manufacturing processes. Identification and analysis of spots, deposits and defects in pulp and paper samples belong to our expertise area.

Our equipment comprises many techniques from optical microscopy through, confocal, electron microscopy to atomic force microscopy.
