Energy Balance
Innventia’s competence in energy balances and the coupling of material and energy balances has been developed over a number of years in large research projects and contract work for customers. We use a variety of tools depending on the task, from simplified spreadsheet models to detailed flowsheeting models with rigorous handling of thermodynamic and physical properties.
- We can model the performance of boilers, evaporators, steam turbines, gas turbines, and gasifiers, as well as production of Fischer-Tropsch fuels and ethanol.
- Our full-mill models can be used to understand effects of process changes on material and energy balances simultaneously and are excellent tools to provide fundamental data for the technical and economic assessment of new process solutions.
- Through our extensive research network we are also able to work with specialists in each field so that you can get the best support even in situations where information about a new process is scarce.
