Barbara Jackson and Steve Allum join the team
STFI-Packforsk UK Ltd continues to expand its Edge consultancy team with the appointment of Barbara Jackson and Steve Allum.
Barbara, who joins as Events and Publications Manager, is well known in packaging circles, having previously been responsible for the organization of some of the sector’s most important and successful exhibitions, including Pakex, the PPMA show and subsequently Total. Throughout the course of the year, Edge will be producing a number of high calibre conferences and market reports to compliment their consultancy activities.
Greg Wood, Managing Director of Edge, explains: “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Barbara’s experience and network to the business. Her track record of events management for the packaging sector is outstanding. This will help Edge to bring some genuinely exciting and innovative events to the market place. We will also be organizing events for the paper and print supply chains, partnering with our STFI-Packforsk AB colleagues in Stockholm. Barbara will also be responsible for a range of incisive market reports and newsletters we will be producing for the sectors.”
Steve joins the team as a Senior Consultant. His background is in risk management consultancy, and his experience will bolster Edge’s strategic consultancy services. Steve’s skills and experience are particularly relevant to some of the due diligence projects that Edge undertake on behalf of banks and venture capitalists.
