Michael Sturges, Director of Edge, will be presenting “A Guide to Approaching Packaging Innovation” at the easyFairs Packaging Innovations event. The presentation will form part of the Packaging News sponsored Learnshop, which will also feature presentations from Janet Shipton of Chesapeake Branded Packaging and Ann Bonner of Rexam Beverage Cans. Janet will be covering Effective Management of Creative Packaging Design Teams and Ann will be looking at Innovation in Beverage Cans.
Edge offers a range of packaging innovation services called Sixth Sense. Michael’s presentation will cover the Sixth Sense approach to packaging innovation, which focuses on consumer needs and market trends and how to match new technologies to market pull. Michael will also show how human-product interaction techniques can be used to gain insights into emotional responses to different packaging designs and materials.
The easyFairs event will be held at the NEC in Birmingham, UK on 12-13th March. Michael’s presentation will be at 1pm on the Packaging News Learnshop stage.
