Environmental testing

Ensure the durability of your product

A product needs to work in its intended environment, and to withstand transportation. This could involve base stations that need to survive earthquakes, antennas in coastal areas that are exposed to moisture, salt and cold, or portable measuring instruments that need to withstand knocks and bumps. Do you want to ensure that your product works properly in its normal environment?

Prevent costly redesigns

By allowing us to test your product at an early stage of development, we can help to prevent costly redesigns. Your product will be tested by skilled and experienced staff in one of the Nordic region's best equipped and most advanced laboratories for vibration, impact, drop and climate testing. We carry out testing in accordance with levels of standards such as ASTM, ETSI, IEC, IEEE, ISO, ISTA and MIL. In a hurry? No problem! We have procedures for testing involving both short deadlines and long-term planning.

Accredited vibration testing since 1994

Our testing centre in Kista is accredited for vibration testing in accordance with the following methods:

  • IEC 60068-2-6 Sinusoidal
  • IEC 60068-2-27 Shock
  • IEC-60068-2-31 Rough handling shock
  • IEC 60068-2-57 Time history method
  • IEC 60068-2-64 Random
  • GR-63-CORE Earthquake

Accredited climate tests

In our climate tests, cold, heat, moisture and, in certain cases, salt mist are combined and cycled in various ways to meet most testing standards, such as:

  • IEC 60068-2-1 Cold
  • IEC 60068-2-2 Dry heat
  • IEC 60068-2-14 Change of temperature
  • IEC 60068-2-30 Damp heat cyclic
  • IEC 60068-2-38 Composite temp./humidity cyclic test
  • IEC 60068-2-78 Damp heat, steady state

Get in touch! We have expertise and customers within most sectors, such as the aerospace industry, telecommunications, medical technology, the automotive, marine and rail industries, electronics, laboratory equipment, tools, defence and agriculture.
